Hello, my name is Traci and ever since I can remember, I’ve been a collector. Drawn to colors, patterns, and the unique tactile qualities I became infatuated with textiles. My collecting expanded with my love of travel. With every passing year and destination, I’d fill my suitcases with newly purchased fabric from designer Italian blouses, handmade scarves in India, to vintage Hawaiian shirts.

Incorporating these fabrics into daily pieces such as sweaters and hats felt natural to me. I’d deconstruct garments, cut and sew in my found fabrics, to create new pieces.
